Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented Senior Web Developer to join our development team. As a Senior Web Developer, you will work closely with project managers, designers, and other developers to build and maintain high-quality web applications for our clients. You will be responsible for writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, ensuring the delivery of responsive and user-friendly websites. You will also mentor junior developers, help troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure best practices are followed across all projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and technical solutions
- Build and maintain clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in web development and technologies
- Participate in client meetings to provide technical insights and recommendations
- Implement best practices for front-end and back-end development
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in web development
- Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, Vue.js)
- Strong experience with back-end technologies (Node.js, PHP, Ruby on Rails, Python, etc.)
- Experience with database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Familiarity with API development and integration (RESTful APIs, GraphQL)
- Strong understanding of web security principles and best practices
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
- Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js)
- Experience with content management systems (WordPress, Joomla, Drupal)
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with mobile-first development and responsive design
